CESP supports Andreas Symeou in Nicosia

The Cyprus Police Association, was to protest outside the Police Headquarters in Nicosia over a dispute involving their union leader.
The RAS, the event was to express the Association’s grievances to the Chief of Police Michael Papageorgiou.
They claim that CPA leader Andreas Symeou is being victimized because of his union activities.
Members of PASYDY and other trade unions in the public and private sectors were also present.The President of CESP, Branko Prah took part to this protest with eleven delegations of CESP, from Hungary, Serbia, Portugal (2), Montenegro, FYROM, Greece, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Romania, Slovenia and Malta.

Participants in this demonstration adopted a resolution [120 KB] to support Andreas Symeou.
