On May 23rd, 1992, nineteen years ago, the escort police officers Vito Schifani, Rocco Di Cillo and Antonio Montinaro died in the attack of Capaci with the Judges Giovanni Falcone and Francesca Morvillo. This is a day that we cannot forget and must not forget. The cyclists of the SAP, carrying the Torch, accompanied with some secondary school pupils and police colleagues, boarded on the "Boat of the Legality" organized by the Falcone Fouindation to join Sicily and to take part in the commemorations. At the Palermo Police Headquarters, a ceremony was chaired by the Deputy General Secretary of the SAP, Francesco Quattrocchi and the union leaders of Sicily.
