The Secretary-General of the CESP took part in the setting of the management of the ASPP/PSP after the re-election of its President Paulo Rodrigues.

On this occasion, he took the floor to underline the interest of the CESP to the defense of Portuguese public security police officers' union rights . He denounced the absence of consideration, on the pretext of the crisis, of the demands of the ASPP/PSP - since 2004 - concerning the bad conditions of hygiene and security that the police officers have to support.

He announced that the CESP is going to lodge a Collective Complaint against Portugal for these facts to the European Committee of Social Rights.
