On Sunday April 7th 2013 in Cervia, the 17th International Gran Fondo Cyclisme Selle Italia took place, involving 3 500 participants and 25 000 visitors.
On this occasion, the 8th Trophy "Sap - SPORTravenna" was awarded to the winner of the special classification for members of the police and armed forces, by the National President of Sindacato Autonomo di Polizia (SAP), Gianni Tonelli.
The fourth CESP trophy (European Council of Police Trade Unions) was gave to the first in the police officer’s race ranking, Marco Fronza, from the Trento Police, by the Deputy Secretary General of CESP, Massimo DENARIER, member of SAP National Council.
The race was followed by many authorities, including first of all Mrs. Josefa IDEM, Italian Minister of Sport.
