The National Council of the Sindicato Autonomo di Polizia took place on 25th et 26th March 2003 at Fiuggi (Italy).
On this occasion several speakers underlined the fear which we shared to see the state police forces called in question by political options that we cannot accept. It is essential for the members of the CESP to take care of the evolution of this tendency to react quickly and effectively against any disengagement from the State in the citizen security field, first of the liberties.
