VISIT TO LITHUANIA
During 23th – 25th of october 2005 the President of C.E.S.P. visited Lithuania to support our colleges in their demonstrations against government. The problem of unpaid work and low salaries has been presented first on Executive Committee meeting in Velenje and after on the Conress in Varna. The progress after summer was very slow and the colleges from Lithuania organized many demonstrations in different cities in last autumn. The main goal of demonstrations was to begin with negotiations with government and to reach new agreement about salaries.
The President hold meeting with executive board of , took par at demonstrations where he expressed full support of C.E.S.P. in his speech and hold the meeting with the General commissioner of Lithuanian police. All events had a great effect in all national media.
